HARLEY-DAVIDSON ROADSTER by WEST-FLANDERS
After the previous 2 editions of chopper and café racer in Nico, the idea was to put together a runner in the spirit of the "Forgotten Era" 70-90, with a clear mention to the drag racers. The basic bike was a Roadster XL 1200CX.
We stripped the bike, mounted the clip and replaced the exhaust. So we assembled the simplified line and made some changes, so that everything could be taken apart and assembled very quickly.
After choosing the color, Koen Fine Arts performed the special painting, which gives this new engine a "vintage vintage" look. The consultation took one or two days and was accompanied by extensive research on the Internet.
So we ordered the parts. With the final assembly we were sweets for three days. I am convinced that there is a clientele for this type of motorcycles. The taste of customers evolves and the 'racing-vintage' trend is currently very present. Furthermore, this is a polyvalent motorcycle.
Based on the kit we used for this, we can also take care of other machines and not just for a Harley audience.
