BUILT BY UNTITLED MOTORCYCLES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BARBOUR INTERNATIONAL AND BRITISH GQ, WE DISCOVER ALL ABOUT THE TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLE THAT RECENTLY WON THE PRESTIGIOUS GQ CAR AWARD.
Barbour International clothing is inspired by our motorcycle heritage since 1936 and appeals to those who love style and authenticity, see how we’ve been able to incorporate this aesthetic into the customised Thruxton R motorcycle…
Created in partnership with Barbour International and British GQ, Triumph Motorcycles won a prestigious GQ Car Award last Monday 5th February for its specially customised version of the Thruxton R motorcycle.
Built in just five weeks by custom bike builder Adam Kay and the team at London’s Untitled Motorcycles, the motorbike has been dubbed the ‘ultimate gentleman’s motorcycle’. Built with the rider mind, the bike was designed specifically to reflect the two sides of the GQ reading man – those who harbour a love of speed and adventure but is also conscious of style and image too.
Delivering on performance the motorcycle boasts a 1200cc high power Thruxton R parallel twin Engine. It also features a host of modifications including CNC machine billet aluminium top yoke with an integrated tachometer mount made by Fasttec Racing, to help the rider know how much power they are using at any moment, whilst the classic Thruxton indicators have been removed to feature new bar end ones from motogadget.
Resplendent in stylish black, even the wheels have been changed from silver to a gloss black finish which makes them appear ‘bigger’, whilst the rear yellow springs have also been powder coated gloss black too.
