Suzuki XR69 TRIBUTE

DB Customs has created his own interpretation of that historic motorcycle. It is not a faithful replica of that iconic bike, am in tibuto, in fact the engine is not the classic GS 1000 8V

The frame is aircraft grade 4130 tubular Cr-Mo steel, designed and manufactured by Denis Curtis (RIP) and Byron Cox, of former @CMR Racing. The fuel tank and swingarm were also manufactured by CMR. All suspension components are from Öhlins USA, with the front fork (FGRT 202) originally designed for a BMW 1000RR, but with an increase of 10mm in length and travel. Brakes all around are from Brembo, with 320mm front discs, billet radial mount front calipers, RCS brakes / levers and brake / clutch levers and leaded with Spiegler Performance Parts braided lines. The wheels are made of super light CA5 carbon fiber from Dymag Performance Wheels, along with Michelin Pilot Power CT2. The footpegs are by @Harris Performance.
The engine is a refreshed Bandit 1200 unit, complemented by a GSXR750 first "DOT" head, which has more of a low draft design with smaller combustion chambers for greater compression. The cams come from an oil cooled GSXR-1100 along with Kibblewhite springs. Ignition is a Dyna 2000 unit with 2.2 Ohm gray coils and the motor breathes through a Yoshimura TMR-MJN carb set. The exhaust is an incredibly lightweight 4-1 titanium unit from Racefit.
The bodywork is made of carbon fiber which is fitted with headlights from a Honda NC35 VFR400. The paint job was done by our partners at Sketchs Ink (all colors, no vinyl), who worked hard to make his ideas a reality.
