Questa KTM LC4 640 Supermoto del 2005 è stata trasformata in un elegante e funzionale scrambler da Man & the Machines
Visto il risultato oltremodo eccellente ho cercato ulteriori informazioni sul suo creatore e ho scoperto il suo creatore Krzysztof Szews. Il nome non dice nulla a voi come non diceva niente ma invece si dimostrato un designer di BMW , insomma non un ultimo arrivato o un semplice appassionato.
Il progetto è stato ben più lungo di quello che si possa pensare e ha necessitato diversi mesi di lavorazione , non tanto nell'assemblaggio quando nello studio la pc di ogni componente . segno questo che come ogni lavoro è la preparazione quella più importante di tutti.
Una volta che si hanno tutti gli elementi e si sa dove montarli è quasi un gioco da ragazzi completare il tutto.

Man & the Machines is a hobby and happens after work (and after the kids are in bed really). I spent one year planning, researching and finalizing the design and then another year building the KTM in my garage until it was finished in May 2018. What I like most about the build is that I used as many references to vintage Motocross bikes and Scramblers as possible, for example the proportion of tank to seat, the way the subframe runs around the rear and how the front and rear fenders are mounted. That combined with using state of the art technology by fully 3D scanning the bike, virtually modelling the side fairings and the front lamp cover and 3D printing them, gives the bike such a unique character.
