Sundance opened in Takanawa, Tokyo in 1982, when Harley-Davidson specialty stores are not yet famous. Since then, with their unique position, they have dealt with motorcycles equipped with this good old American V-twin engine and have developed their business on the basis of the principle of building elegant and fun to ride motorcycles.
The first of the parts they developed is a stainless steel drag tube. At that time, they wanted to release `` parts that balance style and practicality '' for users, focusing on corrosion resistant metal, which at the time was not a material for custom parts, I have achieved. From this first part, Sundance's philosophy has remained substantially unchanged to this day.
Subsequently, the covers of the stainless steel push rods and the aluminum handles released at the time were released based on the idea of using the new metal weft. Speaking of the Harley-Davidson custom scene in the 1980s, it was common practice to use chromed steel parts. They wanted to open a door to the new Harley-Davidson custom world. The question of existing things and the desire to improve the Harley-Davidson motorcycle were Sundance's own belief.
In 1992 they produced the original HD pilot "DaytonaWeapon 1" and made their first Daytona expedition. The race will however result in a retirement due to minor problems, but it will be a hot topic among Harley Works officials and the media in each country.
