Vespa PX Tillotson street racer

There are generations of motorcyclists who have grown up and trained by fiddling with the Vespa, a vehicle that is so simple and cheap that it is affordable for everyone. Then there are the usual enthusiasts who always want more and instead of switching to a more powerful medium they prefer to have fun modifying what they have. In Italy as well as in the UK this medium has had great success and the preparations on this type of media knows no bounds, for example this comes from over the English Channel (UK) and Phil Duck explains the interventions performed

Started life as a rotten px frame.
Rear end taken off new cradle made making sure the suspension and ride height stayed the same, engine still in same place so no tracking issues.
Engine malossi 166 with a 60mm crankshaft, fully ported and matched to casings, exhaust Rz carburettor is a Tillitson with its built in fuel pump no jets no slides no springs etc, manifold made from billet aluminium one off.
Artwork done by Garageartworks, rear disc brake wide tyre gives a comfortable ride with stopping power.
