1995 Ducati Monster 900. Built to race Hooligan flat track races and rip wheelies on the street. This is a new school feel street tracker build that is built off of a 20+ year old Ducati that also pays homage to Paul Smarts winning race machine from 1972.
Ducati Monster 900, the first series, the one with the stubby engine and the big intake valves, a motor that did not like to turn at low lap numbers that wanted a strong wrist and made its thundering voice come. In short, an awkward customer to manage on the dirt road of an oval track, but this is the choice that the guys Behind Bars Customs have made.
The plan is to hit some races in the 2018 Roland Sands Superhooligan series along with a few other local flat track races here in California. Stay tuned for more photo shoots and riding videos with this build!
