HONDA CB 450 / Street Tracker

Show bikes, precisely because they are built to make a good show of themselves, are not always 100% functional and require a lot of work to make them so.
Cedric, however, did not hold back and started this project which sees the final result in these photos.

Initially this bike was a show bike exhibited at trade shows to advertise a motorcycle mechanic.
Only the work done on the engine, the frame, the fiber saddle and the installation of the tank could be kept.
There was hardly any electricity and a lot of things weren't meant for daily taxiing, or even just taxiing.

After purchasing this bike, I was introduced to a great motorcycle man: Marc Rubbens. It was by seeing the extent of his know-how and his knowledge that we decided by mutual agreement to take up this project in depth.

From a computer drawing, the painting was entrusted to David Gallet called "Daddygraph", then all the more technical part to Marc.
After 3 years of waiting, the bike is finished, revised and corrected in depth and works perfectly.

Personally, I find it a real pleasure to ride this CB450 which has kept its original motor character, its vibrations and its smells.
No need to drive fast to have a lot of fun. She has a fabulous sound.

I would therefore like to thank Marc for all the work done, despite his great health difficulties. He knew how to manage the project in every detail with great professionalism and application.

Below is a list of the work carried out:
- complete engine overhaul + painting
- black epoxy paint on: frame, swinging arm, rear brake flange, triple trees, gear lever, rear brake pedal, saddles, hubs, rim strapping etc ...
- re-top of new saddles
- flat track handlebar + motogadget comodos + mini motorscope counter + handles + NISSIN master cylinder and clutch + brake reservoir = new
- inverted cagiva 125 mito fork, new spys seals, new oil
- wheel bearings + stainless steel spokes and spoke heads + Metzeler Roadtec tires + rear drum + front pads + rim tape / ch. air = new
- ceramic treatment of manifolds and high engine covers
- Honda CB125 T resin resin restom tank + new cap
- New custom body paint
- tailor-made saddle, tailor-made fiber rear shell, aluminum plate holder cut in black epoxy, all mounted on silent block
- electric harness with m-unit and m-button motogadget completely redone (coils, capacitors, starter changed)
- front brake pads, all consumable, all fluid, engine gaskets, column bearings, chain kit = new
- aviation hose + brembo caliper
- new YSS rear shocks
- low engine covers painted black by pro - carburetted completely, cleaned, adjusted + new K&N type filters
- custom fuel system + quick couplings and filter
- Aluminum dibon number plates + double-sided adhesive
- Highsider led front headlight + black epoxy tailor-made plate / headlight / flashing support
- lithium battery in custom-made container
- new capellini exhaust rings
- rear indicators with new integrated brake lights ...
