"Dirt Endurance" の ぞ み (NOZOMI) | Honda Garage Dreams Contest

1.- THE FINAL PHASE OF THE HONDA GARAGE DREAM COMPETITION IS APPROACHING, IS IT EASY TO COMBINE WORKSHOP WORK WITH THE PROJECT?
It has been complicated, and we have run to the full, fortunately or unfortunately, this time of year is usually a little more stopping, so between some gap we had and a few more hours we were working on the bike that we were able to finish on time.


2.- WHO ARE THE MEMBERS OF YOUR PERSONALIZATION TEAM AND WHAT DO EACH ONE DO IN THIS PROJECT? HAS ANYONE EVER MODIFIED A MOTORCYCLE BEFORE?
The main team was formed by Arnau, Enrique and Juanjo, in the most technical part, and then Javi and Marc, who collaborated in the conceptual part. Juanjo had already made some preparations before, which was what carried the weight of the project.


3.- THE COMPETITION IS PART OF HONDA'S DNA, HOW ARE YOU LIVING THIS CONTEST FROM WITHIN?
Precisely that the DNA of the competition is the source of inspiration for this bike and we believe it is reflected in it, so we decided to incorporate a phrase from Soichiro Honda Race Race Improvement, in the end we tried to improve a series bike through more elements of "running"


From inside has been a very good experience, has been a more complicated model than we expected, since it is a bike with a lot of personality, but in the end among the ideas of all I think we were able to apply the style that we wanted to the bike.


4.- REGARDING THE PERSONALIZATION OF THE BIKE, HOW DID YOU BAPTIZE IT? WHAT OPTIONS AND ACCESSORIES HAVE BEEN CHOSEN AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE?
We have not yet decided the name of the bike, in the end it is a motorcycle based on classic endurance bikes, but with dirt track capabilities, a kind of "Dirt Endurance."


The main changes were to add the fairings and a more Racing dome, we changed the handlebar series to a semi-handlebar at the beginning, the idea was to make a motorcycle more circuit, but at the time looking for ideas to get out a bit of the motorcycle standard circuit we decided to add the touch by riding a tire on the cue.


5. WHAT MESSAGE DO YOU EXPECT TO CONVEY WITH THE FINAL RESULT? WHY SHOULD THIS BE THE WINNING BIKE AND NOT ANOTHER?
As we said, we wanted to convey the DNA of the race that Honda had from birth, we think we have achieved this, we hope people like it and win.


6.- WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT THE PROJECT? AND WHAT IS COSTING THEM THE MOST?
With what we liked most was with all the design part, to share all the ideas to prepare the final project.


What cost us most was to look for alternatives to the original plan because of a vendor problem, but in the end it was possible to resolve it.

At the moment we have not thought of any special celebration, but if we out winners already prepared.
