Vocalist Aimee Interrupter and Transplants member Kevin Bivona began working on music together a few years back with Rancid’s Tim Armstrong on production duties. Bivona brought in his twin brothers Jesse and Justin to play drums and bass, and The Interrupters were born.
After releasing their debut album in 2014, the band started playing as many gigs as they could, performing alongside artists like Blink-182, Rancid, Bad Religion, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Offspring and more.
Their single “Take Back The Power” is a little different than most of the band’s material, high-energy ska-punk, but the catchy tune caught the attention of T-Mobile amd landed it as the feature song in a nationwide advertising campaign.
