Like father, like son. Fritz Egli Junior (46) is now following in the footsteps of his father (77) and is also trying on the type of motorcycle that started the Egli success story in the late 1960s. Instead of the well-known central tube, Egli-Junior uses milled light alloy in his Sport-Vincent.
The steering head carrier and the rear swing arm are machined out of solid alloy blocks. The upper part of the frame also houses the oil tank for the engine. The milled parts are manufactured by MotoGP-experienced Swiss specialist Suter Racing. The first prototype of the new Egli-Vincent, which was built in collaboration with Australia's long-standing Egli importer Terry Prince, has now been presented at the Pitstop Museum in Tübingen.
First, it is planned Frame kits for owners of Vincent engines hang up. On request, entire motorcycles can be created. An own design of cladding and hump is still being developed. The driving prototype was still equipped with parts from the Ducati shelf.
One way or the other: Father Egli is very satisfied with the work of his son: "An excellent construction."www.tpv-vincent.de
