CB-F Tajima RS

To enjoy the Honda CB-F series, developed between 1979 and 1983, as 2020 approaches, there is always a way to maintain performance through restoration and maintenance.
Another method is to use custom 17-inch front and rear wheels and enhanced power performance to take advantage of the CB-F style and achieve a modern ride.

Tajima has a history of participation in the Suzuka 8 Hours with RC30 = VFR750R and created this front / internal grille with reference to the shape of the RC30 pilot used at that time. The two-light headlights are deviated from the RC30. The removable hinge allows for easy attachment and detachment.

The offset of the front fork has been changed from 45 mm, which is the original specification of CB-F, to 35 mm, which is the standard for modern 17 inches. The trail has been changed from 117mm on CB750F to 100mm based on CB1300SF (SC54) to ensure proper management. The instrument is equipped with STACK and the front main cylinder is equipped with a Nissin radial pump.

The tank is made of hand-worked aluminum by Tajima Engineering and the cap is of the fast-charge type which looks like a resistant pilot. Tajima also paints as RCB. The Y-shaped part visible under the tank is an additional sub-frame of φ38mm, made of 7N01 aluminum and capable of being screwed.

The base of the vehicle is CB750FC, while the chassis is original Tajima and reinforces 20 seats. For the CB1100R, the engine is equipped with a slight crank and door expansion, while maintaining the displacement of 1062 cc, molybdenum disulfide coating on the piston + fluorine treatment and renewal of bearings / metals. For intake, the FCR φ37mm carburettor is selected.

Tajima's CB-F often uses authentic style elements around the foot to reduce the burden on the user, maintain the front fork length of 780 mm and balance costs / performance. Here, the fork is made in a KYB (hardened by oriental hardening) inner tube + SHOWA φ43mm hybrid outer tube.
