KTM 620 DUKE - RACER CONVERSION (MR#5)
This KTM knew the track for many years. The owner wanted a more elongated position and a lower motorcycle. Everything had to be redesigned to transform this Austrian tractor, all within a reasonable budget.
The original suspensions were therefore retained, but their adjustments, spring taring and viscosity of the oil were revised. The deflections were limited and the attitude lowered with a work on the rear suspension links.
If some parts have been smashed or simply recycled from previous projects, the air filter / fake tank cover, the seat backrest and the engine shoe have been made to measure. A small lithium battery was retained - but moved under the engine in the hoof as an oil recuperator.
The presence of the starter was a request. It is a pleasure motorcycle that will be purring without having to push and pass the big compression; To devil the few superfluous grams).
The rear loop of the (removable) frame is also completely specific and adapted to receive the new path of the supertrap pot which comes out centrally under the saddle backsplash. Remote controls have been installed as well as bracelets for a natural elongated piloting position.
