SINGER ACS - The Ultimate Safari 911

Rallies are firmly embedded in Porsche's DNA. The first race a 911 has ever competed in was the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally (it finished fifth, in case you were wondering), which is why a 911 raised on knobby tires and preferably in a Rothmans livery like the 953 and the 959 winners of the Dakar I safari of the mid-1980s

At the request of a client, @singervehicledesign and @tuthillporsche have undertaken the All-terrain Competition Study to enable a wide range of capabilities suitable for off-road racing and exploration across a range of surfaces.

To highlight the broad repertoire of the ACS, our client has commissioned two machines, one - in Singer’s iconic Parallax White - focused on high-speed desert rallying and a second – in Corsica Red - configured for high-speed, high-grip tarmac events.

Modification services developed for the Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – ACS include:

-Dramatically increased ride height and suspension travel with twin, 5-way adjustable dampers per corner.
-Strengthened monocoque with underbody protection
-Carbon fiber body panels suited to quick replacement and easy underbody access
-Bespoke permanent AWD system
-A twin-turbocharged, 3.6L, air-cooled flat-six with power starting at 450hp.
-Sequential racing transmission with front, centre and rear limited-slip differentials.
-Forged aluminium 8x16” wheels with BF Goodrich All-Terrain tyres

Lifting the front carbon-fiber clamshell reveals one of 2 spare wheel and tire sets. The other lives behind the seats.
On the underside of the front clamshell is the heritage “Glitch” graphic in tribute to the famous Rothmans racing livery.
Lifting the rear clamshell allows access to the 3.6L twin turbo-charged, air-cooled, Porsche flat-six with water-to-air intercoolers and individual-bank charge coolers housed within the plenum - cooled by a clamshell-mounted radiator.
ACS has been undertaken in partnership with renowned 911 rally and motorsport specialist @tuthillporsche, bringing deep expertise from the world of WRC competition and events such as the East African Safari Classic.
It also spits fire.
